Susan is a US/UK citizen and a Branford resident since 1986.  Married to Jay Pottenger with three children (Will , Jack,  and Emma ) attending Branford Public Schools.

Graduate of Leicester University with a Law Degree LLb, Registered Psychiatric nurse,  Maudesley Hospital London Staff nurse;

Retail manager for UK firm in Boston and retail management for UK company in New Haven; Seven years as a Rehabilitation Therapist Yale University SATU(Substance abuse treatment unit)at CMHC (Connecticut Mental Health Center) out-patient treatment group and individual treatment.  Board member of Guilford Women and Family Life Center for eleven years.
