VIRTUAL HIGH SCHOOL at Branford High School

***See Your Guidance Counselor***

Branford High School is proud to offer on-line courses through our partnership with the Virtual High School. VHS courses offer students a broader variety of courses (170+ course offerings), as well as increased flexibility in scheduling. Students enrolled in a Virtual High School course have the ability to participate in virtual communities of global learners affording them national as well as international experiences. If you are academically disciplined and self-motivated, this may be the opportunity for you. This program allows students a chance to further distinguish their transcript with an independent learning experience, take courses that would not be available to them due to scheduling conflicts or that are not offered at the high school.   Virtual High School courses are in addition to the annual minimum course load requirement of 5 and 12/ courses/credits plus PE/Health.   Space is limited and priority is given to juniors and seniors. An application is part of this process. See your guidance counselor for more information or to apply for a seat.
