Below are some important updates.
Quarantine Test-Out for Unvaccinated Students
Effective November 1, 2021 unvaccinated students identified as a close contact will be placed in a 7-day test-out quarantine. This new quarantine period applies to individuals placed into quarantine on or after November 1, 2021. The new quarantine requires a student to be tested (PCR or Antigen Test) between days 5-7 of the quarantine. If the test is negative, the results must be sent to 7daytestout@branfordschools.org so it can be properly recorded. When this condition is met, a student is allowed to return to school on day-8.

Vaccinations for 5 to 11-year-old Children
In the upcoming weeks information will become available regarding vaccination opportunities for 5 to 11-year-old children. BPS is prepared to support the next phase of the vaccination rollout and we encourage families to get their children vaccinated if appropriate. Vaccinations will not be mandated by the school but they are strongly encouraged.
