Every year, the District asks for feedback from parents/guardians, students, and staff through a climate survey. As we did last year, we are using a survey developed and administered by Panorama Education, a nationally recognized and validated instrument used by districts nationwide. The confidential survey takes less than 20 minutes to complete. Please help us by taking the time to complete it.
On Monday, May 23rd, Panorama Education will email all parents/guardians, using the email address on file with the District. The email will be sent from email@example.com with the subject line “Request for Feedback.” Please check your junk/spam folder if you do not receive it. Each parent/guardian will be able to complete one survey per child. All surveys must be completed by midnight on Friday, June 10th. Please read the information about each set of questions in the survey headings, particularly those related to your interactions with your child’s school. In the summer and early fall, survey findings will be analyzed by district and school leadership teams to inform future planning. The overall results will also be shared publicly at a future board of education teaching and learning committee meeting.
Students in grades 3 through 12 will also be surveyed in the next few weeks using either school email or a link provided through their Google Classroom. If you wish to review a copy of the student survey questions, please contact the main office of your child’s school to make an appointment to do so.
