Dear Parents/Guardians,

Branford Public Schools is excited to offer a unique summer program to all students currently enrolled in Kindergarten-grade 5 (incoming gr. 1-6 students) To support continuous learning for these students, this summer’s program will offer learning in math and literacy in the context of enrichment. The goals of the program are for students 1) to have FUN, 2) to experience continuous learning, and 3) to enter school next fall with confidence and understanding about themselves as learners. 

 Your child may enroll in one, two, or three (2-week) sessions. Dates are as follows:

  • Session 1:  July 5-July 16

  • Session 2:  July 19-July 30

  • Session 3:  August 2-August 13

During each two-week session, students may take one of the following programs:

  • STEM--Science, Technology, Engineering, Math

  • Fitness/Mindfulness and Literacy

  • Arts and Literacy

All sessions will run from Monday through Friday at Branford High School from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Breakfast will be available from 8:45-9:00 a.m. and lunch will be available from 11:30-12 p.m. Transportation and meals are provided at no cost. Additional before- and after-school programming will be available. Once a final student list is compiled, more information regarding health concerns and transportation will be sent to you. 

These are amazing opportunities for our learners and we hope many students will take part in this summer’s program! Registrations are open through Friday, May 7, 2021. To register, please contact your child’s principal.
