With Governor Lamont's announcement on February 7, 2022, that he is recommending the Legislature continue the current face covering mandate through February 28, 2022 and that any subsequent face covering requirement beyond February 28, 2022 be determined locally, the Branford Board of Education will hold a public hearing on February 16, 2022 in the Walsh Intermediate School Auditorium at 6:00 PM.
The purpose of the public hearing is for the Branford Board of Education to receive and consider public comments concerning whether or not the Branford Public School System should adopt a policy to require individuals to use face coverings while on school property beyond the date established by either Executive Order and Legislative action.
